Security operatives intercept oil-theft syndicates in Delta State

Nigeria security operatives, on Monday, intercepted an oil theft syndicate in the Oporoza area of Delta state.

Recall that in June, former militant leader Asari Dokubo had alleged that 99 percent of the oil theft in the Niger Delta region is done by the Nigerian Army and Navy.

However, the Nigerian Army and Navy denied Dokubo’s claim as oil theft continues to occur in the region.
