Soludo Promises Massive Road Construction

The Anambra state governor, Chukwuma Soludo says the State Government has completed plans to begin Massive Road Construction and rehabilitation once the rains stop.

Soludo made the promise in at the governor’s lodge in Anambra, when addressing heads of Christian women organization.

The Governor told the women who were consulting with the governor’s wife in preparation for the Anambra women’s August meeting that they needed to initiate a campaign to re-enforce family values that help in building a better society.

The Governor observed that families become vulnerable each time in the life of any society when mothers fail in their Cardinal responsibilities to the home. He asked the women to seize the opportunity offered by the August meeting to take back homes and thereby the larger society.

Governor Soludo said that while the government would make effort to build a liveable and prosperous Anambra should support the government to deliver on its promises. He said that his administration has been able to cut down on excessive spending, especially on recurrent matters and the money that’s saved is being channelled into project implementation.
