South-West Govs Visit Akeredolu in Ibadan
Four Governors of South-West States on Tuesday met with their ailing Ondo State counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu, in his private residence in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The governors who visited Akeredolu are Seyi Makinde (Oyo); Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos); Dapo Abiodun (Ogun); and Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti).
Akeredolu has remained in Ibadan since he returned from his medical trip to Germany.

The meeting was held on Tuesday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
This was disclosed in a statement by Akeredolu’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde.
Olatunde said the governors discussed national and other issues affecting the region and the people.
However, Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, was conspicuously absent.
Adeleke was not represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, neither was there any reason for his absence.
At the meeting, Akeredolu who is also the Chairman of the South-West governors, thanked his colleagues “for their solidarity,” and “harped on continuous collaboration among the South-West States.”
On his part, Governor Makinde said the governors in the region are supporting and praying for Akeredolu.
The meeting comes six weeks after Akeredolu returned to the country from Germany after being absent from Ondo for about three months.
