The Lagos State government has closed all COVID-19 vaccination centers across the State

The closure came after the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign was completed with Two Hundred and Fifty-Seven Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty-Six people  vaccinated
This closure of the centres was contained in a statement issued by the State government on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the government acted according to a guideline issued by the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, which instructed the state to stop vaccination after administering half of the doses given to them.
According to the instruction, this was to provide time for the second dose to be administered to those who had already been vaccinated.
The first phase of the exercise, which began on March 12, 2021, in Lagos, lasted for 20 days.
According to the  National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, the COVID-19 vaccinations will be in four phases.
