The value and Volume of stocks traded closed in the negative on the floor of NSE, Tuesday.

At the close of trading on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Tuesday, the volume, value and the total deals dipped after an impressive surge in all the indicators on Monday.
All the indicators, the volume, the value, the All Share Index and the total deals on Monday closed blue.
However, on Tuesday volume of stocks traded decreased to Three Hundred and Eight Million, One Hundred and Eighty Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty-One from Four Hundred and Fifteen Million, Five Hundred and Thirty On Thousand, Four Hundred and Seventy-Six, a twenty-five point eight three percent fall.
Tuesday’s value also fell from Four Billion, Eight Hundred and Ninety-Seven Million, Nine Hundred and Fourteen Thousand, One Hundred and Eighty-Nine Point Six Five naira to Three Billion, Four Hundred and Two Million, Six Hundred and Forty-One Thousand, One Hundred and Two Point Seven Eight. This was a thirty point five three percent reduction.
However, The All Share Index rose to Thirty-Five Thousand One Hundred and Forty-Seven Point Six Two from Thirty-Five Thousand, Forty-Two Point One Four, a zero point three zero percent gain.
CAVERTON OFFSHORE SUPPORT GROUP PLC topped the gainers chart with its share price rising from One Naira Seventy-Two Kobo traded on Monday to One Naira Eighty-Nine Kobo, a Nine Point Eight Eight percent gain per share.
CORNER STONE INSURANCE PLC was the top loser among other 21 losers. Its share price went down from Sixty Kobo traded on Monday to Fifty-Four Kobo, a ten Percent loss per share.
