Tinubu Presidency will bring good governance – FCT Yoruba Group

A political pressure group, the City Boy movement says the Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency is not a religious or ethnic agenda but one anchored on competence, capability and assured delivery of good governance.

At an event that brought the Yoruba Community in the FCT together to drum up support for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket in the 2023 election, the convener of City Boy Movement, Shoga Francis called on the Yoruba nation to put aside religion and any divisive tendencies and give full support to the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.

At the town hall meeting which took place in Abuja, a traditional ruler, Oba Abiodun Nurudeen, who is also the general secretary of FCT Yoruba obas, said that yorubas are not supporting Tinubu based on ethnicity but because of his track record of competence and capability in public service.

The spokesperson of City Boy movement and its director of programmes Drs Hassan Sadiq and Bode Ajose called on Nigerians to vote for a leader with vision, explaining that a Tinubu government would be knowledge driven. They said the Abuja event was to draw grassroots support for the Tinubu presidency.

The theme of the town hall meeting was Tested and Trusted leadership, the imperative for peace and unity.
