TRANS-KALABARI ROAD COMPLETION WILL PROMOTES ECONOMY GROWTH’S – IBAS
The Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ibok Ete Ekwe Ibas, says the Trans-kalabari Road Project serves as one strategic effort at addressing the associated socioeconomic difficulties experienced by residents in the Kalabari riverine communities.
Ibas made the remark when he embarked on an inspection tour to the site of the ongoing Trans-kalabari Road Project in Rumuolumeni Community and the Permanent Secretaries’ Quarters in Rumuokwurushi Community, all in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area on Monday.
The Administrator said it is imperative that the projects are completed, particularly the Trans-kalabari Road, because it will contributes immensely to boosting the socio-economic status of Rivers State and Nigeria as a whole.
Earlier Ibas inspects Civil Servants Quarters designated for Permanent Secretaries, highlighting the challenges experienced by civil servants, hence the need for comfortable housing facilities.
The administrator said he is steering the process of building a peaceful state that would benefit the people of the state.
