The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has condemned the Abuja-Kaduna train attack, stating that such violent attacks are becoming too many and it questions their collective capacity to govern.
The governors said this in a statement on Wednesday and described the attack as a horror dream.
The governors added that if the intention of the murderers is to disrupt the peaceful coexistence of Nigerians, they will not succeed. #

Road travel was at full swing on Wednesday at various motor parks in Kaduna State with the passengers trooping in to board vehicles to Abuja. This followed the attack on an Abuja-Kaduna bound train and the subsequent temporary suspension of train services on that route by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).

Slovakia, a member of the European Union, on Wednesday said it had decided to expel 35 Russian diplomats based on information provided by intelligence services.
According to the foreign ministry spokesman Juraj Tomaga, Slovakia will reduce the staff of the Russian embassy in Bratislava by 35.

Super Eagles World Cup Disappointment Is ‘A Blessing In Disguise’ – George Abbey
Former Super Eagles defender, George Abbey, said the team’s failure to make the 2022 World Cup should be a wake-up call to football authorities in Nigeria.
Abbey said this in reaction to Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Ghana in the World Cup playoff. The stalemate sent the Black Stars to the competition on the away-goal rule after the first leg ended goalless.
But George believes the development is a reality check on the three-time African champions. According to him, there are cracks in the team, explaining that the players could not pay attention to the “little details” during the double-legged game. #
