NDLEA Intercepts Fake $4.7m Cash in Abuja
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted fake 4.7 million dollars cash from Abuja, by a 52-year-old principal suspect Abdulmumini Maikasuwa.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, said operatives of the agency had in the early hours of Friday, 18th February stopped a consignment sent from Lagos to Abuja at the Abaji area of the Federal Capital Territory.
The seizure followed intelligence received by the FCT Command of the agency detailing the movement of the cash and the vehicle conveying it, after which the NDLEA Chairman Buba Marwa directed that both the cash and the suspect in custody be transferred to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for further investigation. #

National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu has declared that he is ready to get dirty in the struggle to emerge next Nigerian President.
The 2023 presidential aspirant on the platform of APC, stated this on Sunday during a consultation with the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and the Olubadan-designate, Oba Lekan Balogun, seeking their various blessings.
Tinubu vowed that he will not bow down to any intimidation by fellow contenders, stressing that he is out to be President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor come 2023. #
Oyetola Declared Winner Of Osun APC Governorship Primary
Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has won the governorship primary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.
The governor secured 221,169 votes to defeat a former Secretary to the Government of the State, Moshood Adeoti, and a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuff, who secured 12,921 and 460 votes respectively.
Governor Oyetola was declared winner of the primary election by the Chairman of the poll, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak of Kwara State, at the APC secretariat in Osogbo where votes from the 30 local government areas of the state were tallied. #

Britain’s 95-year-old Queen Elizabeth II tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday, a fortnight after marking 70 years on the throne, although her symptoms are mild.
The news comes at a stressful time of scandal for the royal family and after Prince Charles, the queen’s eldest son and heir, tested positive on February 10, two days after meeting his mother at Windsor Castle. #
