We Must Hold Our Government Accountable For Good Governance, say Stakeholders – Watch Video

Some stakeholders in the public and private sector on Thursday in Abuja expressed the opinion that government should be held accountable at federal, state and local government levels

The stakeholders made this known at the 2024 Nigeria Accountability Summit, with the theme: Enhancing Accountability: Limiting Vulnerabilities, where they noted that demanding good governance is key in every tier of government.

The commissioner for agriculture in Niger State, Musa Salihu Bosso, said the Niger State government was on the forefront in promoting good governance and providing food security in the state using mechanized farming for the farmers benefits.

Also speaking, National President, Small Scale Women Farmers Association in Nigeria, Fatima Bello, called on government to provide assistance to the farmers in Nigeria as well as subsidize and provide farming equipment to the Nigerian farmers.

The programme was attended by Corp members, Civil society organizations, government officials and members of the public.
