You Can Live Forever: Parents Launch Book, Foundation in Memory of Daughter
In 2016, Jude Ilo and his wife Nkem lost their baby girl, Natasha. It was a loss that hit the family so hard that the pain seemed indelible, it stuck.
However, Jude has turned his loss to a full creative life for Natasha in a book entitled KASIE
The book, a three-part collection of poems, will be launched on February 23, 2021, at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja at 5 pm
The launch of the book will also feature the lunch of the Natasha Ilo Foundation, a family initiative to keep the memory of their flyaway dove alive
Jude also says the Natasha Ilo Foundation will seek to support children’s development by accelerating access to health, education and prevention of sexual and domestic violence
