It was a blue day on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Wednesday as all indicators closed in the positive.
The volume, value, the All Share Index and the total deals rose with a minimum of one point twenty percent
The volume of stocks traded went up from Three Hundred and Sixty-Five Million, Four Hundred Thirteen Thousand, Eight Hundred and Fourteen Traded On Wednesday, to Four Hundred and Thirty-Four Million, Nine Hundred and Twenty-Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Thirty-Three, a nineteen point zero two Percent Increase
The value also rose to Six Billion, Nine Hundred and Thirteen Million, One Hundred and Thirty Thousand, Five Hundred and Eight Two Point Six Nine Naira from Four Billion, Six Hundred and Ninety-One Million, Seven Hundred Eighty Thousand, Eight Hundred and Seventy-Eight Point Five Three. This Was a forty-seven point thirty-five Percent rise
The All Share Index rose climbed to Thirty-Four Thousand, Seven Hundred and Sixty-Nine from Thirty-Four Thousand Three Hundred and Forty Point Five Six, A One Point Twenty-Five Percent Rise, With The Total Deals Closing at Seven Thousand and Twenty-Nine.
MAYBAKER topped the chart among other 43 gainers. its share price rose from 3.2 naira to 3.52, a ten percent gain per share.
However, TRANSNATIONAL EXPRESS PLC was the top loser among other 9 losers. Its share price plunged from 0.96 naira traded on Tuesday to 0.87 a nine point three eight percent fall.
