Prof. Ekele reappointed CMD of University of Abuja Teaching Hospital

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday approved the reappointment of Prof. Bissallah Ahmed Ekele, as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH), Abuja.
This was disclosed on Tuesday in a statement issued to the media in Abuja.
The statement revealed that the appointment of Prof. Ekele is subject to a four-year term.
Prof. Ekele who officially took over from the Acting CMD, Dr A.S. Haruna, on July 3, 2017, has performed credibly in various areas such as infrastructure research, clinical services and industrial relations.

In congratulating him for his reappointment, president Muhammadu Buhari had tasked him to use the opportunity given to him to continue with the development of the hospital and health sector in the country.
