Why my footballer friends are mad at me – Wizkid

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid, has revealed that his footballer friends often get mad at him because he doesn’t contribute when they discuss football.

The ‘Essence’ crooner said he doesn’t watch football despite having a lot of footballers as friends.

Wizkid, who disclosed this in a recent interview with Kiss FM, London, however, said he plays football.

The father of four said he plays as centre-forward.

He said, “I actually don’t watch football, to be honest. I have a lot of footballers as friends, they get mad at me when they are talking football, and I don’t know what they’re talking about.

“I don’t watch football but I play. I play centre-forward.”
