Enugu CP Visits Enugu AOC, Solicits Strengthened Collaboration
The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, has solicited the strengthening of the existing mutually beneficial working relationship between the Police and the Nigerian Air Force in the State.
He made this known when he, alongside his management team members, paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Air Officer Commanding (AOC), the Ground Training Command of the Nigerian Air Force, Enugu, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Usman Kandi Abdullahi on September 3, 2023.
The AOC commended the CP and the State Police Command for the cordial and fruitful working relationship, assuring that the collaboration will not only be strengthened but will be made to become even more productive.
Similarly, the CP received the leadership of the State Command’s Police Officers Wives Association (POWA), led by its Chairperson, Mrs. Barr. Joy Kanayo Uzuegbu, who paid him a courtesy visit in office at the State Headquarters, GRA, Enugu.
He commended the women for their fervent motherly roles and enjoined them to continue to support and pray for the officers and men of the Command, as they daily perform the arduous policing tasks.
In her speech, Mrs. Kanayo assured the CP of the Officers’ Wives continued support and prayers for God’s guidance, preservation, and success as the Command’s officers and men’s daily discharge their duties. She further promised to ensure that POWA in the State becomes even more cohesive and resourceful.
The Commissioner was again joined by some of his management team members and staff officers of the Command to receive and interact with the POWA leadership.
