The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval for Kaduna State-owned Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic to commence 18 new academic programmes alongside the continuation of its 42 existing courses.

The approval followed a recent resource inspection and re-accreditation visit to the Polytechnic by the Board in January, 2026.

A letter dated 20th February, 2026 signed by the Director, Polytechnic and Allied Programmes Department, Dr. Fatima Kabir Umar, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Board, Prof, Idris Mohammed Bugaje, conveyed the approval to the management of the institution.

A statement by Abdullahi Ibrahim Shehu, Overseer, Information and Protocol division of the polytechnic, said the accreditation marks a pivotal moment for the institute, enabling it to broaden its admission and provide enhanced technical and vocational education to a wider range of students.
