Enugu Air Dismisses Crash-Landing Claims, Says Investigation Is Underway

The Chairman of Enugu Air, Barrister Richard Agu, has clarified that the Enugu Air aircraft involved in a runway excursion at Benin Airport on Thursday did not crash-land. The incident, which prompted an emergency response after the aircraft veered off the runway following a safe landing, is currently under investigation.

Barrister Agu made the clarification during an interview on Signature TV’s Breakfast Show on Friday. He assured the public that the safety of passengers, crew and flight operations remains the airline’s highest priority, adding that Enugu Air is cooperating fully with the relevant aviation authorities as investigations into the incident continue.

The airline has urged the public to rely only on verified information and assured passengers of its commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
