Residents of Anagada, a community within the Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, benefited from a free medical outreach program organized by the Education, Social and Health Mission (MESH), an NGO under the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), in collaboration with the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN), FCT chapter.
In her remarks, MESH Admin Officer, Rafah Abdulazeez, explained that the outreach aligns with the organization’s mission to provide access to quality healthcare services for vulnerable communities.
The community chief, Alhassan Musa, expressed his delight at the initiative, highlighting it as the first medical outreach program ever held in Anagada. He extended his sincere gratitude to the organizers for selecting his community.

IMAN FCT Chapter Chairman, Dr. Lawal Abdulhakeem, commended the high turnout of residents, making their task easier. He added that various medical tests were conducted, and patients received prescriptions for necessary medications.
The Anagada outreach program, which commenced at around 11:00 am on Saturday, June 24th, 2024, ran for approximately six hours. Residents received a range of free services, including medical consultations, medications, foodstuffs, and clothing.
