AFCON 2023: Yemi Alade deserves national honour – Patrick Doyle
Veteran Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle, has stated that the famous Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade deserved a national honour.
The actor stated this on Tuesday why reacting to the singer’s performance at the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
In a series of posts on his Instagram page, Doyle described Alade as Nigeria’s most significant cultural ambassador, noting that she deserves a national honour.
Sharing the clip of her performance, he wrote; “Behold, Nigeria’s most valuable cultural ambassador. Yemi Alade is nothing short of a national treasure, she deserves a national honour.”
Yemi Alade on Saturday performed at the opening ceremony of the AFCON tournament in Abidjan.
