Abigail Frederick one of the victims of the boat mishap which claimed the lives of film practitioners including popular actor, Junior Pope be brought back to her family for a proper and decent burial.

He said the state government has followed and read the reportage, especially on the social media platforms surrounding her burial and wish to state categorically that it was not informed of the circumstances that led to her burial.

In a release signed by his Press Secretary, Ekerete Udo, Governor Eno observed that Abigail Frederick was a quintessential example of the young people of Akwa Ibom who have harkened to the clarion call for them to Arise and shine.

The governor expressed deep sadness at the painful death of Abigail, a 24-year graduate of Theatre Arts whom he said found her passion as a make-up artiste and sympathized with her family, the Nollywood Family, and her friends and colleagues over her sad death.

Abigail was among actors and other crew members who died in the tragic boat mishap, which occurred a few days ago, on River Niger while they were on a trip to a movie location.
