APC will win 2023 elections in South-East – Uzodinma

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the 2023 elections in the South-East.

The Governor noted that it was the only party with structures in all the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria.

Uzodinma, Chairman of APC Presidential Campaign Council in South-East, spoke on Thursday at a seminar for party candidates.

”APC is already winning and will win in the South-East”, he boasted in Owerri.

Uzodinma said the seminar was to ensure a successful electioneering campaign ahead of the polls.

He advised the participants to carry the party and supporters along as they cannot win elections in isolation.

The governor noted that President Muhammadu Buhari has done a lot for the zone since he assumed office.

He listed the second Niger Bridge, federal highways repair, establishment of a Naval Base in Oguta LGA, ongoing reconstruction of the hospital at Imo University Teaching Hospital in Orlu, among others.

Uzodinma told Igbos not to fall for those who proclaim South-East presidency but did not support aspirants from the zone during the APC primary.

“There is the need for the South-East to take their destiny in their own hands”, the Imo helmsman added.
