The  Leadership of the Bayelsa State Police Command has ordered a probe into the sudden death of a 27-year-old male, who died in police custody.

The state’s Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng E. Echeng, ordered for discreet investigation and autopsy to determine the cause of the death of the deceased, Goodluck Oviekeme.

The CP gave the order in a statement, made available on Saturday, in Yenagoa, through the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat.

Preliminary investigation reveals that Goodluck Oviekeme was the mastermind of the attack on the patrol team.
