The Bayelsa State commissioner for sports, Daniel Igali has assured that Bayelsa United football club will escape relegation in the ongoing Nigerian premier football league.
Igali spoke with Signature TV in Aba, Abia State during the league game between the team and the Enyimba Football club of Aba.
He assured that despite the setbacks suffered by the team, especially during the first stanza of the league, the team will strive to remain in the elite division.
On the upcoming Niger Delta sports festival scheduled to hold in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, from the 1st to 8th April, the Commissioner assured that the state has put everything in place to ensure that its athletes perform well.
