Bundesliga: Werder Bremen will give Boniface opportunity to shine – Fritz
Werder Bremen Sporting Director Clemens Writz has said the club will provide the right environment for Victor Boniface to thrive.
Boniface was set to join AC Milan last month before the Serie A giants pulled out of the move due to failed medical.
The Nigeria international joined Werder Bremen on a season-long loan on deadline day.
The 24-year-old impressed on his debut for the Greens, providing an assist in the 4-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Fritz said it is important for the club to get the best out of Boniface.
“We want to integrate Victor as best we can so that we can get the best performance out of him. To do that, we need to provide him with the best environment – and that’s what we’re working on. Everything else is a matter for the future,” Fritz said in an interview with Transfermarkt.
Bremen will face Frieburg in their next Bundesliga game on Saturday.
