Catholic Bishop Of Zaria Diocese Has Passes Away
In the early hours of Friday, July 8th, 2022, after a brief illness, Zaria Catholic Diocese announced the death of the Bishop Most Reverend George Jonathan Dodo.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Zaria is a diocese located in the Zaria council of Kaduna State.
Dodo was said to have died on Friday morning after a brief illness.
In a statement issued by Zaria’s Diocesan Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Abraham Bisan Make, the Diocese of Zaria announced the passing of its Bishop to Glory.
‘With thanks to God, I have been ordered to announce the passing unto glory of our Bishop, Most Rev. George Jonathan Dodo, the pioneering Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Zaria,’ the statement read.
According to the statement, the tragic event occurred early on Friday, 8 July 2022, following a brief illness.
Information on his burial will be released as soon as possible, the statement continued. “While we urge everyone to pray for his peaceful repose,” the statement read.
