The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya has warned Nigerian Army Officers and theatre Commanders to confront insecurity head on as he will not tolerate any excuse for failure.
He gave the warning at his Second and Third Quarter Combined Conference held in Abuja on Monday.
The top military officers and commanders of operations were in Abuja to brainstorm on how to end Nigeria’s insecurity challenges.
Declaring the Conference open, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya said he received new order from the President to deal decisively with non-state actors.
He warned the commanders to up their game as he would not tolerate any excuse for failure.
The Chief of Army Staff Commissioned a Satellite Communication Vehicle to improve the operational capacity of the troops.
With the charge to the Commanders and generals by the Chief of Army Staff, the Nigerian Army seems to be in the mood to end insecurity which is one of Nigeria’s challenges.
