The Pentecostal Bishops Association of Anambra State (PBAAS) has urged Governor Charles Soludo to ensure equity and fairness in political appointments under his administration.

Vice Chairman of PBAAS, Bishop Timothy Obidike, made the appeal at the end of a two-day yearly retreat of the association held in Awka, yesterday, saying there was the need for Soludo to correct the imbalance against the Pentecostal movement under previous administrations.

Obidike said the appeal to Soludo became necessary to draw his attention to the need to correct the imbalance against the Pentecostals in the past.

“We also call on the governor to be fair in the distribution of political appointments and to correct the imbalance against the Pentecostals in the past. We pledge our continuous support and prayers for the new government.”

Obidike expressed dismayed at the escalating insecurity in the country and Anambra State and canvassed urgent attention to check the menace adding that the group desired to see a secure Nigeria and Anambra and improved public infrastructure in the state and entire country.
