Coalition fumes over attack on CUPP spokesperson, killing of three others
The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, has condemned the attack and the assassination attempt on the Spokesperson of the Conference of United Political Parties, CUPP, Ikenga Ugochinyere in Akokwa, Imo State.
SignatureTV had reported that gunmen suspected to be assassins, in large numbers attacked Ikenga at his home in Akokwa, Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State leading to the killing of his uncle and two other persons.
It was also reported that properties in his compound were set ablaze by the assailants.
Reacting, COSEYL in a statement issued on Saturday by its President General, Goodluck Ibem said the development is the second time assassins are making attempts on the life of the CUPP spokesperson.
