The English Football managers has fixed another date to resume their domestic leagues, including the Premier League, FA Cup, and EFL in the country due to coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, according to Sky Sports.
It was reported that England had suspended their domestic football leagues still April 4.
However, officials from all 20 English top-flight clubs spoke over a conference call on Thursday morning and decided that the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL and women’s football will continue to be suspended until April 30 “at the earliest.”
The deadline for returning to action has also been extended indefinitely as part of an agreement with the FA.
Liverpool is currently on top of the Premier League with 25 points ahead of Manchester City.
English professional football bodies’ thoughts are with all those affected by the deadly coronavirus and are united in finding ways to resume the 2019/2020 season as soon as it is safe.
