Coronavirus: NCDC confirms 86 new cases in Nigeria, 70 in Lagos

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday, confirmed 86 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.

NCDC, in a tweet on its Twitter page, gave a breakdown.

There are 70 in Lagos, the highest recorded in one day.

Akwa Ibom reported 3, 7 in FCT, 3 in Katsina,1 in Jigawa, 1 in Bauchi and 1 in Borno.

Current total number across Nigeria stands at 627.

“As at 11:50pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria, 170 have been discharged with 21 deaths

“There are 22 states with confirmed cases in Nigeria”, NCDC tweeted.
