COVID-19: Ramos tests positive, ahead ofLiverpool Clash

The Captain of Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos, has tested positive for the coronavirus ahead of their UCL quarter-final clash against Liverpool on Wednesday night at Anfield.

Ramos did no feature in the first leg tie against Klopp’s men due to a calf problem.

However, Real Madrid defeated their English opponents by 3-1 victory at home.

The 35-year-old Spanish will be in self-isolation for 10 days following Covid-19 quarantine protocols and will exclude him from the squad that face Liverpool on Wednesday night, Getafe, and Cadiz.

Ramos’ last appearance for the club was during the second leg of the champions league round sixteen against Atlanta.
