Edo Poll: All Major Political Parties Engaged In Vote Buying – Itodo
The Executive Director of pro-democracy group, Yiaga Africa, Samson Itodo, says major political parties engaged in vote buying during the Edo State governorship election on Saturday.
Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Monday Okpebholo, was declared winner of the keenly contested election by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.
According to Itodo, his group and others Civil Society Organisations that observed the election noticed that parties doled out 5,00 to N10,000 naira to bribe voters.
