Egbuna & Theodora Akpa celebrate 50 years of marriage
Veteran broadcaster and former South East Zonal Director of the National Broadcasting Commission, Egbuna Akpaand his dear wife on the 31st of October, 2020 celebrated their 50 years of marriage.
Their marriage took place at St John’s Catholic Church, Agbani in Enugu State on the same date in 1970 (just after the Nigerian Civil War)
The marriage of the couple from Mgbowo in Awgu LG of Enugu State, is blessed with children and many grand children
The Golden Wedding anniversary kicked of with a Thanks giving service at the St Mary’s Catholic Church Trans Ekulu Enugu, with a reception immediately after at the St Mary’s Hall
The high point of the event was the decoration of some special persons who played important roles in their marriage including, HRH, Lolo Roseline Ilo who with her late husband, HRH, Igwe Vincent Ilo sponsored the marriage in 1970.
