Timini Egbuson, Jemima Osunde, others fight COVID-19 in MTV Shuga Alone Together
Fan favourites such as Timini Egbuson, Jemima Osunde, Nick Mutuma and Lerato Walaza, together with a Pan-African cast from Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire, have joined forces to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The MTV Staying Alive Foundation, in partnership with the United Nations’ Every Woman Every Child Partnership’ and Unitaid: Supporting Innovation for Global Health, Viacom CBS Africa, and MTV International have announced a 60-part mini-series of MTV Shuga to raise awareness in the global fight to flatten the COVID-19 curve. Produced remotely, the self-shot series was written and directed by writer, Tunde Aladese, and will be available for streaming and sharing across online platforms from this week.
Set in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Cote D’Ivoire during the height of the COVID-19 outbreak, MTV Shuga Alone Together’ will depict every aspect of life during the pandemic over the next three months, reflecting how social media has become the new form of socialising during the lockdown, and reflect the changes in our lives as lockdown changes across the months.

Controversial singer, Afeez Fashola simply known and addressed as Nairamarley says he is not educating his children to be rich.
According to the fast-rising singer, he is educating them to be happy.
He made this known via a tweet he sent out on his official Twitter handle on Tuesday, 21st April.
The singer is more known for his running battles with the Nigerian government, most recently, the Lagos state government.
He wrote:

Former Big Brother Nigeria housemate, Tacha has ousted a blackmailer who sent her a mail threatening to release her unclad photos.
Speaking via her official Twitter handle, she went on to reveal that those are the kinds of hate she deals with on daily basis before going on to share the photos for the public to see.

Lockdown: Zlatan Says He Now Tracks Giveaway Online To Buy Foodstuff
Popular Nigerian singer, Temidayo Michael simply known and addressed as Zlatan Ibile says the lockdown of the nation by the federal government affects him as well.
According to the singer, he no longer sleeps at night as he tracks giveaways with the hope to get lucky so as yo buy food items in the house.
While we find this very hard to believe, the singer made the comment after a fan took to her Twitter handle late in the night to say the singer is already sleeping and she needs him to dash her some money.
