Enugu State Governor respond to Insecurity, Summons meeting of local government authorities and the Military
In a move to achieve a coordinated and inclusive response to security challenges in the state, the Enugu State governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has convered an interface between the Nigerian military and all local government chairmen in the state.
The meeting which will hold on Senatorial District basis will also be attended by religious leaders, traditional rulers and youth leaders.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the governor on information Steve Oruruo, the government said all presidents general of autonomous communities, leaders of the neighbourhood watch, and forest guards in the autonomous communities.
The statement added that the meeting will hold in Nsukka Local government council headquarters for Enugu North Senatorial District, Awgu Local government council headquarters for Enugu West Senatorial district and Nkanu local government council headquarters for Enugu East Senatorial districts.
The meeting will hold between 9 am and 2 pm on Saturday November 5th 2022.
