Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has hailed the “incredible” work Mikel Arteta has done at Arsenal ahead of the final day of this season’s Premier League.
Guardiola’s men moved up to 88 points at the top, following a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
City are now on the verge of an unprecedented fourth title in a row.
Arsenal must now beat Everton on Sunday and hope for an unlikely City slip against West Ham.
Guardiola knows his former assistant will not be giving up.
He told beIN Sports: “What can I say? He’s an incredible manager what they have done this season with Arsenal.
“And he will not give up, they will try to win against Everton and wait what happens. But it’s what we want, the game depends on us…”
