STOCK MARKET REPORT

Trading on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Thursday, witnessed a fall in both the volume and the value of stocks traded, after an impressive rise in all the indicators on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, all the indicators, the volume, the value, the All Share Index and the total deals closed in the positive.
However, on Thursday, the volume of stocks traded plunged to Two Hundred and Fifty- Seven Million, Five Hundred and Fifty-Five thousand, Nine Hundred and Forty-One, From Four Hundred and Thirty-Four Million, Nine Hundred and Twenty-Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Thirty-Three traded on Wednesday, a Forty Point Seven Eight Percent reduction.
The value also went down from Six Billion, Nine Hundred and Thirteen Million, One Hundred and Thirty Thousand, Five Hundred and Eight Two Point Six Nine Naira to Three Billion, Five Hundred and Twenty-Nine Million, Six Hundred and Twenty-One Thousand, Three Hundred and Eighty-Three Point five nine, a Forty-Eight Point Nine Four Percent fall.
However, the All Share Index Rose to Thirty-Four Thousand, Eight Hundred and Three from Thirty-Four Thousand, Seven Hundred and Sixty-Nine, a Zero Point One Zero percent Rise.
UPDC REAL ESTATE IVESTMENT FUND was the top gainer among other 32 gainers. its share price rose from 5 naira traded on Wednesday to 5.5, a ten percent gain per share.
However, RORALEX PLC was the top most loser among other 21 losers. Its share price went down from 26 kobo at close on Wednesday to 24 kobo on Thursday, a Seven Point Six Nine Percent loss.
