Europa League: Osimhen promises to help Galatasaray win trophy
Victor Osimhen has promised to help Galatasaray win the UEFA Europa League title.
Osimhen scored a superb goal in Okan Buruk’s side 1-1 draw with AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night.
The Nigeria international has now scored three goals in his last two appearances in the competition.
“I said I would score a goal, I did. I make another promise; “I will bring the UEFA cup to Turkey,” he said after the game.
Osimhen also reflected on the performance of his side against the Dutch club.
“It feels good to score a goal. We left with one point. We will continue.
“We may be a little tired mentally, we had a match four days ago, we may be tired mentally.
“Our team’s performance was good. we remain unbeaten in Europe,” he added.
