Evil man abducts 6 month old baby, dumps mother in septic tank
Police in Rivers State has arrested a man who kidnapped a six old baby and dumped the breastfeeding mother in a septic tank to die
According to the Police, the kidnapper was arrested at Omerelu on his way to Imo State to sell the baby.
The victim, Mrs Chizoba Eke, was found in a septic tank after three days in an uncompleted building at Iguwurita, Ikwere Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Reports say Mrs Eke was abducted from her home on August 17 by a baby trafficker who threw her into a septic tank and absconded with the baby.
The abductor assumed she was dead after he had tried to kill her with a machete, leaving her with deep cuts to the head and other parts of her body.
The victim’s husband Mr Eke who has been finding it difficult to pay the bill’s of his wife who is still in a critical condition in an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt, has appealed to public spirited Nigerians for assistance.
Confirming the incident, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, said the police had arrested the suspect and recovered the baby.
According to the Police spokesman, the command would brief the public on the update soon.
