FCT: Don’t Play Smart With Our Election Result – LP
Three weeks after the Presidential and National Assembly elections, political parties have continued to fault the conduct and outcome of the February 25th election.
At a press conference in the party’s national headquarters Abuja on Tuesday, labour party revealed the plan by the People’s Democratic Party and All Progressive’s Congress to bribe the Independent National Electoral Commission’s FCT office to falsify the election results of the Senatorial and House of Representatives elections which Labour Party won.
Speaking, the Labour Party Chairman for FCT, Comrade Peter Diugwu called on INEC not to play to the gallery by bowing to the pressure of politicians to change the election results of FCT.
While calling on supporters of Labour party candidates and Obedient across the country to go to the polls on Saturday 18 for governorship and State assembly elections to deliver the party top to bottom, he advised those who lost in the election to accept defeat and prepare well in the next election.
