Food Insecurity: Federal lawmaker calls for Food importation on Signature Show
The member representing Enugu East/Isiuzo in the House of Representatives, Prof Paul Nnamchi, is calling for the creation of a window for the importation of food, to address the present food scarcity being witnessed in the country.
Honourable Nnamchi who is a guest on the Signature Show, says it will serve as a stop-gap measure to confront the food insecurity in the country.
The Federal lawmaker who is also the Chairman Nigeria/Ireland Legislative Friendship Committee spoke on the need for the two countries to work closely together.
