FRSC deploys 1,500 officers for Edo poll

The Federal Road Safety Corps has deployed 1,500 personnel, 35 vehicles, and ambulances for the Edo State governorship polls coming up on Saturday.

The team will be led by the Zonal Commanding Officer RS5, Benin, Ayobami Omiyale, and assisted by the Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Federal Operations, FRSC headquarters, Hyginus Omeje, and the Sector Commander RS5.1, Benin, Henry Benamaisia.

This was contained in a statement titled “1,500 FRSC personnel, 35 vehicles deployed for Edo elections,” signed by the Corps Public Education Officer, ACM Bisi Kazeem, in Abuja, on Tuesday.

It said the Corps Marshal, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, equally approved the deployment of two trucks and other operational vehicles to aid the electoral process in the 18 local government areas of the state.
