The Federal government has appointed a new Vice Chancellor for the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State. He is Professor Frank Adamu Kuta.
A Professor of Microbiology, Prof Adamu Kuta becomes the 8th Vice Chancellor of the University and takes over from outgoing Vice Chancellor Prof Abdullahi Bala.
In his letter of appointment signed by the chairman of the governing council of the University, Prof Olu Babafemi, the council stated that Prof Frank Adamu Kuta will assume office on the 3rd of December 2022 for an unrenewable term of five years.
He moves from the Department of Microbiology, School of Life Sciences to take up the headship of the university.
