Gunmen kill three police officers, cart away guns in Ebonyi State

Unknown gunmen have again killed three policemen while they were on stop and search duty along Onuebonyi, Nwezenyi Road, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night when the gunmen opened fire on the officers, killing immediately three officers and going away with guns belonging to the deceased.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Odah Loveth Obianuju, when contacted, said that the incident could be true but has not been officially confirmed yet but promised to get back to our correspondent after the return of the Deputy Commissioner.
According to her, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operation, was at the scene to ascertain the level of damage.
