Ruggedman Rescues Woman From Sexual Assault

Ruggedman took to Twitter to narrate how he rescued a woman from sexual assault in Lagos.

Explaining that he saw 3 guys trying to drag a woman who was screaming for help to a dark corner, close to his house.

In a Twitter thread, Ruggedman stated that the woman had been sleeping on the streets for two days, since Saturday, July 26.

The homeless woman came from Ghana, and planned to head to Rivers State to stay with her grandmother.

But, she got stranded in Lagos, and had to sleep in the streets.

According to the veteran rapper, the woman (whose name he didn’t ask) had narrowly escaped sexual assault the first night she slept outside.

However, the hoodlums intended to try again the second night, until Ruggedman and his security guards intervened.

He wrote:

“Last night was another experience. Sat up to female screaming. Looked out the window & saw a girl being assaulted on the other side of the express by 3 guys. They were trying to drag her into a dark area. My guard & the street security chased them off.”

Ruggedman helped the anonymous lady to get to a safer place on Sunday night.

Then he took her to the Ogudu Police Station on Monday, July 27, where she filed a complaint.

BBNaija season 5 Housemate Rebecca Nengi Hampson has bragged to her fellow housemate and love interest, Ozo, after she refused to kiss him.

The housemates had a truth or dare game Monday night, and Ozo was dared to kiss Nengi for 30 minutes, which she refused, saying she would drink instead.

This surprised the housemates as they thought the two were that cool already. Fast forward to after the games, Nengi explained to Prince why she didn’t kiss him.

“Kissing me is a big deal, it’s such a big deal. It’s not an easy thing, it’s something people wait for years to do.” she told him.

When Ozo asked why, she said;

Maleek Berry to Release New Project

Maleek Shoyebi popularly knows as Maleek Berry has given his fans something to look forward to with the news of an upcoming project.

The British-Nigerian artist, and the “Been Calling” singer, made this announcement on his Instagram page today {Tuesday}.

According to the artist, the project, tagged Isolation Room, will be released on Friday.

Is it an EP or a full blown album? We’re not sure. But we do know it’s not going to be a single.

Erigga Set To Drop New Album

 

Nigerian rapper, Erigga on July 27, 2020, announced the release of his fifth album, ‘Growth.’

Erigga announced he will be dropping a new album which he entitled “Growth”. The album will be a follow up to his 2019 project, ‘The Erigma 2’

As at this time, we’re unaware of the release date for the album or any additional details.

The announcement came via Erigga‘s Twitter account when he wrote, “New album on the way… “Growth”

Execujets, the private Jet company that was suspended for flying Naira Marley to the Abuja event in June had their ban lifted.

Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, lifted the ban placed placed on Executive Jets Services Limited, an aviation company that owns the jet that flew musician, Naira Marley to Abuja for the concert at the Jabi Lake Mall.

Sirika said this at the Presidential Task Force briefing on COVID-19 on Monday in Abuja.

Recall that the news of the suspension of Execujet for falsifying its manifesto and lying about the identities of their passengers was reported.

The owner of the company later in an apology said he was unaware of the identities of the passengers and assumed them to be the Minister of Power, Babatunde Fashola, and his entourage who also bears a similar name to Naira Marley and called the singer and the rest of the people who boarded the flight, ‘useless people’.

This led to Naira Marley slamming them on social media and asking his fans to boycott the airline company.

The company has however not reacted to the act by Naira Marley.

Afro beat star Fuse ODG believes it’s wrong for Christians, especially Africans, to hang the images of Christ on their walls in churches and their homes.

According to the “Azonto” hitmaker, the painting of white Jesus represents our oppressors and is the seed of dictators like Adolf Hitler, the apartheid in South Africa, the Rwandan genocide, and skin bleaching.

In a 14-minutes video he shared on his Instagram, he noted that it’s time for Africans to unlearn the lies by its slave masters and be responsible when dealing with the truth.

For the oppressed, as Africans, we can hope that the oppressors can do the right thing but we cannot depend on it. We need to take our faith into our own hands. We have the responsibility to deal with our own truth and it starts with this (pointing to Jesus’ painting),” he stated.

“This is a seed. This is the seed that gave birth to [Adolf] Hitler and his doctrine. This is the seed that gave birth to the KKK, the apartheid in South Africa, the Rwandan genocide, a people of colour bleaching across the globe till date as we speak, and the list goes on.”

He said it’s not wrong to worship any image of God or Jesus because the Bible prohibits such.

“This is not even biblical. If you read the Bible, it specifically tells us not to create any images in the form of a man or a woman or any creature on earth. This is ‘ideology’ and again if you read the Bible there’s nothing that got hate than idol worship. We need to take down this images and worship God in spirit and in truth.”

He ended by saying, “this needs to be taken down from every single church in Africa”, before setting the painting of Jesus ablaze.

In another post, he wrote.

“You shall know them by their fruits. So much damage has been done under the banner of Christianity and religion in general. If Jesus comes back today, I honestly don’t think he will call himself a Christian……….”

Drake Breaks Madonna’s Record For Most Us Top 10 Hits

Rapper and record producer, Drake has beaten Madonna’s record for the highest number of Top 10 hits in US chart history.

The Canadian born rapper broke the record after his collaboration with DJ Khaled, Popstar polled at No 3 while Greece charted at No 8 this week, bringing his total Top 10 hits to 40 and beating Madonna’s record of 38.

In March, he also broke the record for the most hits in the US Hot 100, at 208 but as at July, that tally has now reached 224, aided by his most recent full-length release, Dark Lane Demo Tapes, which came out in May. Every track from it placed on the Hot 100, including hit track, Toosie Slide at No 1.

Drake’s remarkable chart run began in 2009 when Best I Ever Had reached No 2.
Madonna’s run began with Lucky Star, which reached No 4 in 1983, and her most recent Top 10 hit was 2012’s Give Me All Your Luvin, featuring Nicki Minaj and MIA.
