The Indian Defence Ordinance Factory Board led by the Deputy Director General of the Board, Mr Prakosh Agarwala today 18th Feb 2020 paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai at the Army Headquarters conference room in Abuja.
The Deputy DG said he is at the Army Headquarters to seek for collaboration with the Nigerian Army in the area of Defence procurement and capacity building adding that the visit will also avail him the opportunity to understand the geostrategic importance of Nigeria with a view of building on the already existing bilateral and diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
The COAS represented the Chief of Policy and Plan at the Army Headquarters, Lieutenant General Lamidi Adeosun said the relationship between the two National Armies extended to decades and promised the Nigerian readiness to collaborate with the organization in areas that will aid the Nigerian Army in the ongoing fight against insurgency and other contemporary security challenges.
Those in attendance includes some principal staff officers from Army Headquarters, Abuja.
