Two days after, the abductors of the six persons that were kidnapped from the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) staff quarters on Tuesday morning have contacted their families to demand ransom.
the public relations officer of the school, Habib Yakoob, while confirming the new development to journalists said the kidnappers were demanding fifty million naira on each of the abductees, totaling N300 million for all the six abducted persons.
A lecturer, two of his children, and three other persons were abducted when gunmen attacked the staff quarters of the university at about 1 AM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Other victims of the abduction include the deputy registrar of the University of Abuja who was identified as Mallam Mohammed Sambo , professor Joseph Obansa and Dr Tobins Hamilton.
