Legendary Music Icon Mike Ejeagha Laid To Rest: Family And Fans Mourn
Signature TV was at the Abakpa Nike residence of Pa Mike Ejeagha this morning before the family took his corpse to Imezi Owa in Ezeagu Local Government Area for final burial.
Mary Okafor, Ejeagha’s first daughter, reflected on her father’s legacy, finding comfort in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life and was celebrated during his lifetime.
She thank everyone who celebrated her father while he was alive, expressing gratitude for the outpouring of love and support.
Relatives at the Abakpa residence shared fond memories of the late legendary folklorist, describing him as gentle and calm, while acknowledging his contributions to music and culture.
The family say it has agreed to fulfill Pa. Mike Ejeagha’s wish that he be laid to rest at home immediately, without being taken to the morgue.
His remains were being buried at the time of this report.
