Lekki residents donate patrol van to police

Lekki Estates Residents and Stakeholders Association has donated a patrol van to the Ajah Division of the Nigerian Police Force.

According to a statement titled, ‘LERSA Donates Patrol Van to Police,’ the gesture is to show support to the police and strengthen its capability towards curbing crimes and other social vices in the area.

The statement read, “The association made the donation on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the premises of the burnt Ajah divisional headquarters.

“The Ajah division was one of the numerous police stations burnt by hoodlums during the #EndSARS protest in Lagos. Police vehicles, as well as other valuables, were destroyed and set ablaze during the attacks.”
