Man Utd to seek players’ opinions before deciding on Greenwood’s future
Manchester United will seek opinions from their female and male teams on whether to reintegrate Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood has not played for United since January 2022. He was suspended from matches following his arrest.
The 21 years old player is under contract at Old Trafford until 2025.
He was due to stand trial in November for alleged attempted rape, assault, controlling, and coercive behaviour before charges against him were dropped.
Sources have told ESPN a number of individuals have worries about accepting Greenwood back to the club.
Sources also disclosed that a number of sponsors have concerns about him returning to play for United.
